The Humanoid Robot Directory collects only one piece of personal data: your email address, when you join a waitlist via the "Order →" button on a robot. We may also store the robot you signed up for and a timestamp.
We use a privacy-friendly analytics provider (Plausible) that does not use cookies and does not track you across sites. Plausible records only aggregate data: page views, country, referrer, and device type. No personal identifiers.
Your email is used solely to notify you when ordering opens for the specific robot you waitlisted, and occasionally to share related ordering availability. We do not send unsolicited marketing.
Your email is visible only to the directory operator. When ordering opens for a robot you waitlisted, your email may be shared with that robot's manufacturer (and only that manufacturer) so they can fulfil your inquiry. We will never sell your email or share it for advertising.
We retain emails until you ask us to delete them, or for at most 24 months from your last activity, whichever comes first. To delete your data or request a copy of it, email a@nuff.tech with the subject "Privacy request."
If you live in the EEA, UK, or California, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data. Email a@nuff.tech and we'll respond within 30 days.
The site loads images from third-party CDNs (company press kits, news outlets, Wikimedia Commons) and small libraries from public CDNs (D3.js, topojson-client). These providers may log your IP address as part of their normal operation. We do not share any data with them beyond what your browser sends in a normal page request.
